I have been running Enclothed Cognition for about 3 years now and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. Not only was it a creative outlet and a form of expression, but it acted as a resumé supplement since I wanted to get into the fashion industry. As you know, Enclothed Cognition is a place where I share my personal style and what products I am loving at the moment. Yet, I have always wanted it to be more than that.
In the past year, I focused more on defining what Enclothed Cognition is and have even conducted two interviews (Claudia Jordan and my boyfriend) regarding their take on dressing with confidence. I adored this new segment of my blog…but it still was not enough for me.

My friend and fellow blogger, Sheila, had a post dedicated to the rebranding of her blog and how fulfilling the change has been. She used to focus on fashion and lifestyle, but decided she wanted to be a boss babe and worked so hard to turn her blog into a business. Reading this post was incredibly inspiring to me and it made me reflect on Enclothed Cognition and the direction it was moving in.
I knew I wanted to provide more meaningful content to my readers, without letting go of my passion for style. The fashion industry and the role of the blogger specifically, can get a bad rep for being superficial and does not contribute to the overall good of society. I am not saying all brands, influencers, etc. are like that, but it can be perceived this way by some.
Fashion & Self-Love
Thus, I decided to rebrand into Enclothed Cognition: Fashion & Self-Love. I will still be providing the same content (OOTD’s, product wishlists, etc.), but will also be interweaving a lot more lifestyle and social related topics. For instance, I want to delve more into things such as body image, career goals, feminism and even happiness. I’ll be delivering this content through personal experience and through the eyes of a few people I will interview. That being said, if there is anything you want me to touch upon, please leave it below in the comments!
